Sunny and cold conditions across the region

It's a chilly one out there today as high temperatures reach the mid 20s today. Winds are out of the south, which fortunately means that a slight warm-up will occur over the next few days. High pressure is dominating the region and will continue to move across the south. The WPC Surface Analysis shows the high pressure centers to our south and east.

A weak cold front will pass through the area on Friday, bringing temperatures down slightly, but another high pressure system will move in and southerly winds will soon replace the cold we have been experiencing. Little to no precipitation is expected with the passing of this cold front. We will see our next chance for rain Sunday evening as another cold front moves through.

Expect sunny skies for the majority of the weekend. Temperatures will remain in the 20s until Sunday.
