Post Frontal Cool Down!

As the title denotes, we are experiencing quite the cool down this week! Abnormally cool temperatures are flowing into Bowling Green from the northwest providing us with lower dew points.

An amplified ridge in the west along with a deep digging trough in the Ohio Valley is providing us with these abnormal temperatures for the end of July. A 140 kt jet streak, down stream of the trough, will allow the trough to lift Thursday and raise our temperatures. These temperatures will still not be near normal, so do not worry! Our next chance of rain will be working its way into the city on Thursday into Friday. Nothing looks to be severe at the moment. So for now, enjoy the cooler than normal weather!

Forecast
Tuesday - High around 78 with a clear morning. A few clouds developing into the afternoon. Low around 54

Wednesday - High of 84 with a few scattered clouds throughout the day, and clearing into the night. Expect a low around 57.

Thursday - Clouds moving in with our next weather system. Expect highs to be around 85 with a low around 60. Precip chance: 20%
