Return of the Rain

Discussion:
Tuesday will be very similar to Monday. Temperatures starting off cold in the morning and working their way up due to heating from the sun. High temperature will peak just shy of 70°F. Bowling Green will be located on the south side of a high pressure system which will bring a consistent 5-10mph wind throughout the day. As the sun begins to set, temperatures will again fall for a cold overnight low below 50°F with a slight chance for rain. This rain will be brought in by an upper level trough moving over the area. This upper level trough will push the high pressure out of the area and bring in cloudy conditions beginning Tuesday afternoon with the rain entering the forecast for early Wednesday morning. Rainfall and cloud cover will keep most of South Central Kentucky in the lower 60s for a high on Wednesday. A secondary upper level trough will move through the region on Thursday morning as well, bringing with it a much smaller chance for rain. High temperature reaching the mid 60s again.
