Light Snow Possible Tomorrow, Mild and Sunny End of Week

After an overcast morning, we ended up seeing quite a bit of sunshine later in the day today.  According to the Kentucky Mesonet, Bowling Green hit a high temperature of 35° today.  Highs only made it into the low to mid 30s across much of our region this afternoon, but a warming trend will slowly start tomorrow.

Before the warmup gets underway, we do have a slight chance of snow showers earlier in the day tomorrow.  Once again, this system is not expected to bring much accumulation.  However, some areas may get a dusting, and there could be a few slicks spots on the road for the morning commute.  As shown in the graphic above, Bowling Green is not expected to accumulate more than a 0.1" to 0.2".  Any snow we do receive will melt away by the afternoon as temperatures rise into the mid to upper 30s.  If any of these showers are still hanging around into the afternoon, they could change over to light rain.

Once that system moves out of our area, high pressure will begin to build in from the west and southwest as shown in the graphic above.  This will bring us clear and dry conditions for Friday and Saturday along with some milder temperatures.  We expect to make it into the mid 40s on Friday and the mid 50s on Saturday before another system rolls in on Sunday and brings us another chance for rain and a bit of a cool down.
