A hot Labor Day and rain midweek



  Labor Day

For those of you who are looking forward to getting out and enjoying Labor day out in the sun, you can expect a sunny but HOT day with highs in the mid to upper 90's and  heat index values nearing 100 degrees. A cap over to area looks to keep precipitation chance low for your Monday, However...

Yes, come Wednesday it looks like Bowling Green could get some needed rain that could even cool down temperatures as we head into the next weekend.

Day 3 Fronts and Pressures

A trough moving over the area looks to bring in some precipitation to South Central Kentucky on Wednesday and Thursday. You can expect highs in the 90's on Tuesday, but Wednesday looks to be in the high 80's, and continues to get cooler into Thursday and Friday. As of this moment, you can expect a 50% chance of precipitation for Wednesday and Thursday morning, but expect that to change as we get closer to that time.
