A Rainy Week Ahead

Bowling Green is currently 65 degrees with a light southerly wind on this Easter Sunday. Warm air will keep filtering into the region for most of the week and daytime temperatures could break 80 degrees by Thursday. This week looks to be a soggy one with rain chances every day. An overrunning warm front to the south will be responsible for very light, but persistent rain showers Monday through Wednesday. Total precipitation accumulations by Thursday are expected to be around half an inch.

A cold front will push through Thursday evening into Friday and could develop a squall-line of potentially severe thunderstorms. Be sure to check out the blog later this week for an update on this system. Until then, keep an umbrella with you and enjoy the breaks in the rain when you can!
