Severe Weather Expected.

Other than having to dodge the occasional shower over the last few days the weather has been extremely nice, with temperatures in the mid 80s throughout! Today overall will be no exception, but late this afternoon things will begin to change as a storm system moves in that will have the ability to produce severe weather. With that being said the Storm Prediction Center has placed Warren County under a Tornado Watch until 9:00 this evening. Be prepared now, do not let a tornado warning tonight catch you off guard. The main threats tonight are going to be damaging winds and hail, but a few isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out.

After this system passes we will move back into a pattern very similar to that of the last week. Nice days with the daily chances of showers and thunderstorms in the evening hours. But hey, that's what should be expected in Kentucky this time of year.

Forecast:

Tonight: Strong to severe storms expected, otherwise mostly cloudy with a low of 68°

Thursday: Scattered showers and storms early, before becoming partly sunny, with a high of 80°

Friday: Mostly cloudy with an isolated thunderstorm possible. High: 81°

Forecaster: Lukeus McCoy
