An End to the Warmth

General Discussion: A cold front pushed to the southeast Saturday night with low pressure riding up the front and crossing over the region late Saturday/early Sunday. This low pressure system will increase cloud cover across the region and bring rain showers for the majority of Sunday. Due to increased atmospheric instability, there could be a few rumbles of thunder associated with this event, but there is no significant chance for severe weather. Once the front moves out of the region Sunday night, cooler air will fill in behind the front, leading to cooler temperatures on Monday.

Temperatures will drop with the passing cold front. Unfortunately, it will also be mostly cloudy for the majority of the day.
